The Lost & Found
About
The Lost & Found is a new artist-led project space accepting submissions from independent curators, artist-curators, organizations, and educational institutions. Centrally located at Queen St E and Parliament, The Lost & Found aims to provide exhibition opportunities for emerging and established contemporary artists working in any medium. Please see the Open Calls page for more info. The Lost & Found was founded by artist Nurielle Stern.
Mandate
The Lost & Found provides space for the arts in downtown Toronto, where space is at a premium. We aim to facilitate connections between artists and curators, create exhibition opportunities, and connect artists and communities. We support experimental, non-commercial, and under-represented artistic practices. Submissions with representation from diverse and marginalized communities are welcome and encouraged. Submissions that include public engagement activities and programming will also be prioritized.
Sponsors and Support
The Lost & Found has been made possible by the City of Toronto Commercial Space Rehabilitation Grant Program. The gallery launch was generously supported by Tucker's Pottery Supplies Inc.
